Since architecture school I’ve always identified with their simple yet refined innovative style, and the flexibility of their practice, from architecture to furniture design to film.

My favorite quote, and the one I have identified my personal design philosophy on the most is:

“The details are not the details. They make the design.” – Charles Eames

So when I saw this TED video with some rare footage, presented by their grandson Eames Demetrios I got really excited to see their personalities and thinking through motion. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
